In addition, theoretical views on language attitudes are discussed, defining them as complex constructions formed by cognitive and affective components that are influenced by family, peers, community, and the learning environment. Motivational orientations, including integrative and instrumental types, are analyzed along with cognitive theories that emphasize internal and external factors, as well as the L2 motivation system. The factors influencing student attitudes are divided into elements of the educational context, such as classroom conditions, financial support and teacher quality, and the effects of the social context, including parental and peer attitudes, societal norms, and demographic variables.
