abstract: This study is aimed at analyzing interethnic relations in Uzbekistan through photographic sources and approaches the issue not from a traditional perspective but through the prism of visual thinking. In this work, photographs are interpreted not as illustrative materials but as independent sources representing social reality. Accordingly, photographic images are examined at the intersection of visual anthropology and sociological analysis, and their role in reflecting cultural diversity, shaping national identity, and revealing integration processes among different social groups is substantiated. The study focuses on photographs of national holidays, collective events, and the everyday life of various ethnic groups, through which changes and the internal dynamics of interethnic relations over time are identified.
