abstract: This article, based on materials from the newspaper “Tarjimon” published in Bakhchisarai by the founder of Jadidism, the enlightener Ismail Gasprinsky, examines the emergence of Jadid (new-method) schools in Turkestan, particularly in the city of Kokand, as well as their activities, teaching systems, and related issues. The study employs microhistorical, quantitative, systemic, concrete-analytical, and problem-chronological research methods.
