N2  - This article presents a comparative analysis of the logical-grammatical structure of sentences in Japanese and Uzbek, both of which belong to the agglutinative language group. The primary focus of the research is the identification of the categories of ?? (shudai-topic) and ?? (shugo-subject) in Japanese and their functional analogues within the Uzbek language. The study explores the ?topic-prominent? characteristics of both languages from linguistic and cognitive perspectives. It is demonstrated that, although the Uzbek language lacks specific topic markers, semantic boundaries similar to the Japanese ?wa? and ?ga? distinction are created through intonation, word order, and particles. Furthermore, the article examines the influence of language structure on the speaker?s worldview and the comparative aspects of perceiving reality. The findings of this research serve as a theoretical resource in the fields of comparative linguistics and translation studies.
