This article conducts a scientific study of several types of linguistic and non-linguistic means of expressing emotional expressiveness in Said Ahmed's story "The Gate That Will Not Come". As we know, this story is considered an autobiographical story by Said Ahmed. This story extensively covers the inner world, memories and losses of the hero. The work makes the reader think about time, life and human values. The images and images in it are distinguished by their emotional richness, each event reaches close to the heart. Throughout the work, human experiences, dreams and sufferings are combined, creating a deep philosophical content. In this regard, the story attracts attention with its impact and artistic height. During the acquaintance with the text of the story, we witness the means of expressing strong emotions in several places.
