%X This article provides a scholarly analysis of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy and its cooperation with international organizations in the post-independence period. Constitutional principles and the foreign policy concept developed by the first President, Islam Karimov, established the country’s priority directions. Uzbekistan’s relations with the UN, UNESCO, the World Health Organization, and the IAEA, its membership processes, and joint programs are examined. Furthermore, initiatives to strengthen security in Central Asia, address Afghanistan, and establish a nuclear-free zone highlight the country’s strategic international role.
