abstract: This article provides a comprehensive analysis of diplomatic missions between the Bukhara Emirate and the Russian Empire in the 1850s. It examines the political, economic, and strategic significance of these embassies and their impact on geopolitical processes in Central Asia. The study argues that these missions functioned not only as diplomatic exchanges but also as instruments of intelligence gathering and strategic preparation for Russian expansion in the region.
