PublishScience PreprintsTHE IMPORTANCE OF SPEECH BREATHING IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN WHO STUTTERShahnozaShokirovaauthorFeruzabegimIbrohimjonovaauthorThis article analyzes the features of the formation of speech breathing in preschool stuttering children, its physiological and psycholinguistic significance in the speech process, and the mechanisms of its violation observed in neurotic and neurotic forms of stuttering. The gradual development of speech breathing in the process of ontogenesis, the mutual harmony of the diaphragm, phonation and articulation activities, and its role in the formation of connected speech are covered on the basis of scientific sources. Also, such conditions as impaired coordination of breathing and phonation in stuttering children, additional breathing, breath holding, paradoxical respiratory movements, and rhythmic disorders of speech are described. The article considers the importance of developing speech breathing in the correction of stuttering, the effectiveness of speech therapy exercises and relaxation methods, including the possibilities of A.N. Strelnikova's paradoxical breathing exercises methodology. The results of the study show that the targeted development of speech breathing is an important factor in improving the fluency, rhythm, and communicative activity of speech in stuttering children. Work carried out on the basis of a comprehensive correctional and pedagogical approach provides effective results in stabilizing the emotional state of children, activating their speech activity, and ensuring their social adaptation.
