%X This article presents a contrastive analysis of vowel systems in the Uzbek and English languages. The study examines the vowel inventories of both languages, their articulatory and acoustic characteristics, and their systemic differences. These differences are shown to cause phonetic interference for language learners, with significant implications for foreign language instruction.
