abstract: This article examines the phenomenon of ecological globalization from the standpoint of its conceptual foundations, historical formation, and contemporary trends through a comprehensive scientific analysis. The complex dialectical relationship between globalization processes and the environment is explored, along with the transboundary nature of ecological problems and the mechanisms behind global ecological crises such as climate change, declining biodiversity, and degradation of ocean and freshwater resources. The effectiveness of the international system of environmental agreements, global environmental governance institutions, and financial mechanisms are assessed. Contemporary trends analyzed include the green economy paradigm, the nature-based solutions concept, the principle of environmental justice, and the impact of digital technologies on ecological monitoring systems. Uzbekistan's integration into regional ecological problems and the global environmental governance system is examined separately. The research results substantiate ecological globalization as an independent scientific and methodological category, demonstrating its theoretical and practical significance.
