The study explores the Qur’anic and Hadith-based roots of the narrative, its plot parallels with Kalila and Dimna, and Huvaydo’s distinctive artistic approach. The author demonstrates how Huvaydo enriched a traditional narrative with Islamic and Sufi ideas, emphasizing themes of greed, the lower self (nafs), and spiritual perfection. The findings reveal that Huvaydo elevated Uzbek religious-educational storytelling to a new artistic level through his creative reinterpretation of inherited literary traditions.2026-01-01Article
