The study explores the artistic interpretation of Alexander as both a sage and a prophet and highlights the central role of knowledge in human life through a series of instructive narratives. Using the tales of The Chinese Maiden and Archimedes and Maria the Copt, the article reveals the conflicts between knowledge and desire, as well as knowledge and beauty. The findings demonstrate that Nizami Ganjavi glorifies knowledge and mystical wisdom as the foundations of human perfection and artistically conveys key ideas of Eastern intellectual and spiritual thought.2026-01-01Article
