abstract: This article examines the role of the concept of "youth" in Uzbek linguistics and linguaculturology, as well as phraseological units formed on its basis. Through the analysis of idioms, the study reveals that the concept of youth is intertwined not only with physical age but also with national-cultural values such as strength, pursuit of knowledge, moral development, and social responsibility. Additionally, the educational aspects of youth-related traits like immaturity and lack of experience, as reflected in idioms, are highlighted. The findings of the research contribute to a deeper understanding of the Uzbek people's centuries-old philosophy regarding the upbringing of the younger generation and the distinctive features of the national mentality.
