%T FOLKLORE INTERTEXT IN BAHODIR QOBUL’S NOVELLA THE MOON ROAD: FAIRY TALE, LEGEND, AND DEMONOLOGY
%X The article analyzes folklore intertext in the novel "Oy yo'li" ("The Moon Road") by Uzbek writer Bahodir Kobil. The study focuses on genre and imagery systems of folk tales, legends and demonology organically integrated into the narrative. The functions of folklore elements are revealed: from ethical regulation and transmission of collective memory to psychotherapeutic work with trauma. Special attention is given to the images of Ilmis, dev-peri, Mesh, Dultabori, as well as game folklore. It is argued that folklore serves not as an exotic background but as a structure-forming principle through which the worldview of a traditional kishlak is articulated.
