N2  - This article analyzes the system of lexicographic signs in Uzbek explanatory and dialect dictionaries. The issues of developing a new device that captures the personal factor of linguistic unity were discussed. A three-layer model of ?language-personality-community? features based on the principle of ?common language and personality? is also proposed. The model?s capabilities are illustrated by the example of dialect units selected from field research materials.
