abstract: This article examines the role and significance of spatial praxis in organizing the writing process of students with intellectual disabilities from neuropsychological and pedagogical perspectives. Based on scientific literature, it demonstrates that the successful development of writing skills is closely associated with the level of spatial perception, visual-motor coordination, motor planning, and graphomotor skills. Furthermore, the study highlights that insufficient development of spatial praxis is one of the major factors contributing to typical writing errors among students with intellectual disabilities. The article also presents the theoretical foundations of developing spatial praxis through a neuropsychological approach as an essential prerequisite for the formation of effective writing skills.
