The purpose of the study is to identify the mechanisms of transmission and change of moral values from traditional mass media to algorithmic, AI-driven media, and to develop a stage-based model. As a result, a five-stage model of the formation of moral values in the media field was developed, and the qualitative transformation of moral control mechanisms at each stage was substantiated. In addition, the key factors shaping an individual’s moral immunity in the digital media environment were systematized.
