The Research Institute of Dermatology and Venereology, which later functioned as a Republican Specialized Center, is examined as a key institution coordinating scientific research and practical medical services in this field. Particular attention is paid to its contribution to the study of skin and venereal diseases, the training of qualified medical personnel, the formation of scientific schools, and the improvement of the national healthcare system.
