The study examines in detail the operation of social networks based on the principles of the "attention economy" and "data-driven control." The paper demonstrates how the "black box" characteristics of platform algorithms transform the information flow into a closed system and how they induce cognitive isolation within society through "echo chambers." It discloses how users' emotional reactions are managed as a result of the algorithmic filtering of provided information, and outlines the ultimate impact exerted on human cognitive independence.
