TI  - METHODS OF TEACHING CHEMISTRY IN CONNECTION WITH EVERYDAY LIFE
N2  - This paper explores the pedagogical and methodological possibilities of teaching chemistry in connection with everyday life. It analyses approaches to explaining chemical concepts, laws, and processes through examples related to household products, food, medicines, water, air, fuel, construction materials, and environmental issues. The use of everyday experiments, problem-based situations, contextual tasks, and practical projects is shown to increase students? interest in chemistry and develop their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in real-life situations and understand cause-and-effect relationships. The paper also demonstrates that life-based activities contribute to thedevelopment of students? scientific literacy, environmental awareness, critical thinking, practical competence, and safe behaviour. Integrating chemistry education with real-life contexts improves the relevance, accessibility, and practical effectiveness of chemistry lessons.
