N2  - This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations for developing students' research competence in a modern digital educational environment through the integration of educational platforms. It examines the role of digital educational platforms in organizing students' research activities, promoting independent learning, and enhancing their abilities to search for, analyze, process, and interpret information, as well as to formulate scientifically grounded conclusions. Particular attention is paid to the scientific substantiation of opportunities for fostering students' analytical, critical, and creative thinking through the use of interactive learning tasks, virtual laboratories, electronic educational resources, computer modeling, simulations, and project-based learning activities. The study demonstrates that integrative digital technologies contribute to improving the effectiveness of the educational process, increasing students' engagement in research activities, enhancing their digital literacy, fostering independent learning, and strengthening their ability to solve scientific and practical problems in the context of digital transformation in education.
