PublishScience PreprintsDETERMINING THE DEVELOPMENT LEVELS OF PROFESSIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL COMPETENCE USING A QUALIMETRIC SCALEShahloNiyozovaauthorThe article examines the theoretical and methodological aspects of determining the development levels of the professional and methodological competence of pre-service biology teachers using a qualimetric scale. Professional and methodological competence is interpreted as an integrative unity of biological knowledge, instructional design, practical performance, the use of digital technologies, pedagogical communication, and reflective assessment. A qualimetric scale comprising criteria, indicators, level descriptors, and assessment intervals is proposed to ensure an objective determination of competence levels. The assessment considers the manifestation of motivational-axiological, cognitive-methodological, practical-activity, digital-technological, and reflective-evaluative components. The reproductive, productive, and creative levels of professional and methodological competence are characterised, and observable performance indicators corresponding to each level are specified. The article substantiates the integration of results obtained through tests, pedagogical case studies, microteaching, laboratory tasks, methodological projects, digital portfolios, expert assessment, and self-assessment within the qualimetric scale.
