%X This article examines the cases of children's speech delay using texts intended for a child audience and live speech samples. In addition, the causes of children's speech delay are considered from a psycholinguistic perspective, and research and texts for children are analyzed. The expression of speech defects in children's speech in texts intended for a child audience is studied using the example of fiction, and general conclusions are drawn.
