N2  - This article analyzes the information about Sayyid Burhoniddin Muhaqqiq Termizi in historical and literary sources and provides information about his biography. Also, information related to the author's life is comparatively studied, and the research of local and foreign scientists is described. It is known that our local scientists M. Kenjabek, J. Chotmatov, R. Abdullayev have provided brief information about the life and work of Burhoniddin Muhaqqiq Termizi in their scientific research works. Since there has not been a complete research work on the subject-content of the thinker's biography and works to date, this article initially presents the research work of local and foreign scientists on the biography of the scholar. The study of the biography of Burhoniddin Termizi in the article was carried out mainly in two stages. The first stage was to present and analyze the descriptions of the thinker's contemporaries in their works, while the second stage was to present-day research by foreign and local scientists. As a result, a comprehensive scientific account of the author's biography was formed.
