%X This article examines the pragmalinguistic characteristics of the perlocutionary effect in literary communication and its manifestation in the process of readers’ interpretation of literary texts. Drawing on Speech Act Theory, the study explores how linguistic and extralinguistic devices employed by the author influence the reader’s cognition, emotional state, and aesthetic perception. Particular attention is given to the role of pragmatic intention, communicative strategy, context, and the reader’s individual experience in shaping the perlocutionary effect. The findings demonstrate that the perlocutionary effect is a crucial element in understanding the pragmatic meaning and communicative impact of literary discourse.
