      "abstract": "This article examines the literary interpretation of the \u201clittle man\u201d image in Uzbek prose of the independence period within the context of the contemporary literary process. It analyzes how the socio-spiritual transformations that occurred during the years of independence fundamentally reshaped literary attitudes toward the ordinary individual and how the character\u2019s inner world, emotional experiences, life values, and complex relationship with society came to be represented through new literary and aesthetic principles. The article explores the typological features of the \u201clittle man\u201d image and highlights the role of psychological representation, artistic detail, symbolic expression, and the author\u2019s conceptual perspective in revealing the character.",
