The study provides a comparative pedagogical analysis of traditional teaching approaches and innovative educational models incorporating generative AI tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E, and BIM-integrated AI). The effectiveness of generative models in developing spatial thinking, creating compositions, rapid visualization, and producing didactic materials is evaluated. The article also addresses the development of AI literacy among future specialists, issues related to copyright and creative originality, and their potential pedagogical solutions. date: 2026-08-14 date_type: published id_number: IJCST:161 full_text_status: public publication: Modern scientific and technical research volume: 2 number: 3 pagerange: 130-132 refereed: 1 citation: Rustamov, Kamoliddin (2026) THE CURRENT STATE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE USE IN TRAINING INTERIOR DESIGN TEACHERS AND ITS COMPARATIVE PEDAGOGICAL ANALYSIS.
