The relevance of the study is determined by the significance of such issues as family, trust, personal dignity, responsibility, and self-awareness in contemporary literary studies. The relationship between Akram and Sayyora serves as the central object of analysis, with psychological analysis, close reading, hermeneutic, and structural approaches employed as the principal research methods. The analysis demonstrates that psychological tension in the novella is conveyed not through lengthy internal monologues but through dialogue, silence, gestures, hesitation, emotional memory, and changes in the distance between the characters. Akram’s gradual awareness of the consequences of his actions and Sayyora’s psychological position, grounded in dignity and self-protection, form contrasting yet mutually complementary psychological trajectories. The metaphor of paired wings embedded in the title is shown to develop into an ethical model of relationships based on mutual respect, responsibility, and recognition. The scientific novelty of the article lies in its integrated analysis of the psychological conflict through the interaction of intention and consequence, dignity and self-protection, dialogue and silence, and personal emotion and social responsibility. The study concludes that Yoqubov’s psychological realism constitutes a realistic artistic system that organically connects individual experience with broader social and moral issues.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2136"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2136_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
