The study focuses on the characters of Khimchaoyim, Qaldirgoch, Tovka, the collective image of the forty maidservants, as well as Momagul Maston and Surkhayil Maston. It argues that the primary function of loyal female helpers is socialization: they extend moral experience beyond the family sphere into such domains as service, community governance, honesty in trade, interethnic relations, and collective empathy. Negative maston figures, in contrast, perform the function of a “counter-ideal” by embodying recognizable forms of slander, envy, revenge, violence, and hypocrisy. The polarization of positive and negative characters is interpreted as a mechanism of moral evaluation in folk pedagogy. The article also addresses the ethical limitations of the material and argues that models of loyalty formed within relationships of subordination should not be transferred directly into contemporary education but should instead be critically framed and contextualized. The findings are summarized in tabular form.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2157"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2157_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
