The study examines, from a scientific and pedagogical perspective, the ideas of Abu Nasr al-Farabi, Abu Ali ibn Sina, Yusuf Khass Hajib, Alisher Navoi, Abdulla Avloni, Mahmudkhoja Behbudi, and Fitrat on moral education. Their views are analyzed in relation to the modern competency-based approach, highlighting their relevance to the contemporary education system. The findings demonstrate that the national pedagogical heritage provides an important theoretical and methodological foundation for developing students’ ability to make moral decisions and fostering such qualities as conscientiousness, responsibility, justice, and humanism.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2166"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2166_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
