This article examines the major differences and similarities in nonverbal behavior between men and women, focusing particularly on facial expressions, eye contact, body language, gestures, personal space, touch, and smiling. In general, women tend to demonstrate greater expressiveness by using a wider range of nonverbal signals to establish emotional connections, whereas men tend to display more controlled and intentional body language associated with expressing authority or dominance.
