Interactional deixis is treated as an important linguistic mechanism for expressing social status, communicative distance, respect, interpersonal closeness, and the characteristics of a speech situation. Particular attention is paid to the communicative functions of personal pronouns, forms of address, vocative units, modal devices, politeness constructions, and morphological markers characteristic of Uzbek. The analysis demonstrates that interactional relations in English are predominantly realized through syntactic, modal, and lexical-pragmatic devices, whereas Uzbek makes extensive use of person-number forms, possessive and plural affixes, honorific expressions, and socio-culturally marked forms of address. The differences identified in the two languages are determined not only by their grammatical structures but also by culturally specific norms of interpersonal communication.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2188"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2188_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
