The study aims to identify the opportunities and limitations of existingmethodological approaches to IELTS preparation and to provide a scientific andmethodological rationale for the use of artificial intelligence tools. The research istheoretical and analytical in nature and employs document analysis, comparative analysis, content analysis, and synthesis of relevant scholarly literature. The findings indicate thatthe development of productive language skills is closely associated with regular practice, individualized criterion-based feedback, and learners’ ability to recognize and correcttheir own errors. Artificial intelligence can enhance this process by providing additionalpractice, preliminary feedback, and individualized tasks; however, its pedagogical valuedepends on teacher guidance and the critical evaluation of AI-generated results.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-08-14</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mods:mods>
