This article examines the pedagogical opportunities for developing students’ interest in tourism activities. It analyzes the role of tourism in the physical, spiritual, social, and intellectual development of young people and identifies the pedagogical conditions for fostering students’ motivation to participate in tourism activities. The effectiveness of using tourist excursions, trips, practical activities, project-based learning, local history activities, and interactive methods in the educational process is substantiated. The article also highlights the educational potential of tourism activities in developing students’ tourism-related knowledge, skills, and competencies, organizing their leisure time meaningfully, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and strengthening their sense of belonging to their homeland. The findings demonstrate the importance of an integrated application of motivational, activity-based, and practice-oriented pedagogical approaches in increasing students’ interest in tourism.",
