Tolerance is considered not only as a social and moral value but also as a complex linguistic category that is shaped through language and manifested in speech activity. The article examines the ways in which this concept is expressed across different linguocultures, its lexical-semantic field, and its relationship with communicative tolerance. It also highlights the role of linguistic units expressing tolerance in promoting mutual respect, acceptance, understanding, and compromise in the process of communication.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2216"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2216_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
