      "abstract": "This article analyzes the role of classical literature and oral folk art in the development of Uzbek literary thought, focusing on their common features and mutual influence. It examines the impact of folklore traditions, folk imagery, plots and motifs, as well as the principles of classical poetics, on artistic thought in the formation and development of Uzbek literature. In addition, the continuity of classical and folklore traditions in later Uzbek literature and their enrichment with new socio-aesthetic content are briefly considered through the example of Shuhrat\u2019s works. The integration of folk images and motifs, national artistic thought, and poetic elements characteristic of classical literature in the writer\u2019s works is evaluated from the perspective of the relationship between tradition and innovation. The article argues that the organic interconnection between the traditions of classical and folk literature is one of the key factors that shaped the national and aesthetic characteristics of Uzbek literary thought.",
