The study examines the conceptual foundations of somatic phraseological units, metaphorical models, and the mechanisms through which they are represented in human cognition. Particular attention is paid to the representation of knowledge, control, emotional evaluation, and perception through the concept of the “eye.” The findings reveal that, alongside certain universal cognitive models shared by Uzbek and English, distinct national and cultural features are also manifested.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2232"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2232_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
