The research material comprises examples drawn from authoritative lexicographic sources and paremiological dictionaries, with particular attention to their semantic similarities (universality) and national-cultural differences (specificity). The findings demonstrate that in both languages emotions are conceptualized through somatic metaphors, images of nature, and elements of everyday life. However, Uzbek paremias tend to emphasize collectivism and moral values, whereas English paremias show a stronger orientation toward individualism and rationalism. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2418 full_text_status: public publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 9 pagerange: 46-49 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Choriyeva, Iroda (2026) A COMPARATIVE-LINGUOCULTUROLOGICAL STUDY OF HUMAN EMOTIONS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK PAREMIAS.
