The study was conducted from 2023 to 2026 at the A. Avloni National Institute of Pedagogical Excellence and the Centers for Pedagogical Excellence of the Samarkand and Fergana regions, involving 357 English language teachers (181 in the experimental group and 176 in the control group). The research was carried out in three stages: diagnostic, formative, and final assessment. During the experiment, the author-developed Independent Preparation-Based 4C Interactive Teaching Method (MTA-4K) was implemented, and its effectiveness was evaluated according to cognitive, practical-activity, and personal-attitudinal criteria. Statistical methods, including Student’s t-test, Cronbach’s alpha, the KMO measure, correlation and regression analyses, and structural equation modeling (SEM), were employed to assess the reliability of the results. At the end of the experiment, the proportion of participants demonstrating a high level across all criteria increased to 42–44% in the experimental group, while it remained at 21–22% in the control group (Tx,y = 4 1.96; p 0.05). The findings confirmed the practical effectiveness of the MTA-4K methodology and provided a basis for recommendations regarding its implementation in the professional development system. date: 2026-01-01 type: Article type: NonPeerReviewed identifier: Raximidinova, Gulbodom (2026) DEVELOPING 4C SKILLS OF SECONDARY SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHERS THROUGH CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES: RESULTS OF A PEDAGOGICAL EXPERIMENT.
