%X The article examines the problem of preserving stylistic adequacy in the machine translation of literary texts. It analyzes the challenges involved in conveying imagery, authorial individuality, expressive vocabulary, metaphorical constructions, and culturally specific elements. Particular attention is paid to the limitations of modern neural machine translation systems in reproducing an author’s individual style.
