It examines the role of phraseological units in the semantic system of language and the ways in which their lexical and phraseological meanings change under the influence of context. The expressive and stylistic functions of phraseological units in speech, as well as their adaptability within communicative contexts, are also analyzed. The study illustrates the semantic layers of phraseological units, their metaphorical and idiomatic uses, and their contextual-semantic transformations through specific examples. In addition, the linguistic and psycholinguistic aspects of phraseological units are considered, with particular emphasis on their role in enriching the semantic potential of language. The findings of the study may be applied both theoretically and practically in the fields of phraseology, stylistics, and discourse analysis.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2252"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2252_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
