%X This article analyzes the verbalization of the “MOTHER” frame in English and Uzbek from cognitive-semantic and comparative linguocultural perspectives. Through the lexical units mother/ona and related lexical, phraseological, paremiological, and metaphorical means, the study identifies the universal and nationally specific cultural slots of the frame.
