It examines the main types of educational software, including electronic learning resources, virtual laboratories, simulators, multimedia applications, adaptive learning systems, and digital learning platforms. Particular attention is given to the role of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and XR technologies in facilitating the visual and practical acquisition of knowledge, enhancing learning motivation and engagement, and developing independent learning skills. A synthesis of scientific literature indicates that the integration of educational software and immersive technologies can enhance interactivity, individualization, and the practical orientation of the learning process. At the same time, technical, methodological, economic, and cognitive limitations associated with their implementation in education are also summarized.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2283"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2283_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
