The didactic potential of tasks aimed at understanding the content of literary works, extracting relevant information from texts, identifying semantic relationships between events and characters, understanding the author’s position, and supporting personal opinions with evidence is analyzed. The study also substantiates mechanisms for adapting PISA tasks to the content of literature lessons and applying them at reproductive, analytical, interpretative, and evaluative stages. The proposed methodological approach is shown to contribute not only to the development of students’ functional reading literacy but also to their literary and aesthetic thinking, independent reasoning, and critical engagement with texts.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2288"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2288_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
