R. R. TOLKIEN’S WORKS ispublished: pub abstract: The article examines the realization of linguo-conceptual models in the literary texts of J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Silmarillion. A linguo-conceptual model is interpreted as the systematic representation of conceptual content through specific linguistic means, nominative units, metaphors, semantic oppositions, toponyms, and anthroponyms. The analysis identifies the models LANGUAGE–IDENTITY–MEMORY, NAME–SPACE–EVALUATION, LIGHT–DARKNESS, POWER–SUBJUGATION–FREEDOM, and JOURNEY–TRIAL–TRANSFORMATION. The study highlights the role of Tolkien’s constructed languages, including Quenya, Sindarin, Khuzdul, and Black Speech, not only in creating the fictional world but also in expressing ethnocultural identity and axiological relations. Furthermore, the conceptual function of naming is revealed through such toponyms as Mordor, Rivendell, Imladris, Moria, and Khazad-dûm, as well as through the multiplicity of Aragorn’s names. The findings demonstrate that language, myth, space, values, and historical memory form an integrated conceptual system in Tolkien’s poetics. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2470 full_text_status: public publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 9 pagerange: 406-411 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Bo‘riyeva, Nargiza (2026) LINGUISTIC REPRESENTATION OF THE CONCEPTUAL WORLD IN J.
