      "abstract": "The article provides a comparative analysis of al-Ghazali\u2019s views on doubt, burhan, and kashf using a historical-hermeneutic approach. The study aims to distinguish between the formation of belief and the justification of knowledge. Based on selected texts, the critical function of doubt, the evidential function of burhan, and the experiential function of kashf are identified. An approach is proposed that links the origin of a claim, its evidential strength, and the limits of its application. Religious acceptability is not equated with proof, while personal experience is not treated as universally valid evidence.",
