Information concerning the life, political activities, and literary legacy of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur is comparatively studied on the basis of the Baburnama, Muhammad Haydar Mirza’s Tarikh-i Rashidi, and other historical sources. The study examines the reliability of information contained in historical sources, the authors’ attitudes toward the events they describe, their subjective perspectives, and the role of later interpretations in shaping the image of Babur. It also identifies the distinctions between historical facts and legendary representations and substantiates the importance of critical source analysis in Babur studies. The findings contribute to developing a more objective and source-based scholarly understanding of Babur.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2322"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2322_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
