The findings reveal differences in lexical, semantic, and syntactic accuracy, with Yandex demonstrating the strongest overall performance. The study also highlights the limitations of automatic translation evaluation metrics and emphasizes the importance of combining them with expert assessment and post-editing, particularly when translating scientific and specialized texts. date: 2026-01-01 date_type: published id_number: OJS:2506 full_text_status: public publication: Scientific and innovative research in the social and humanitarian sphere volume: 3 number: 9 pagerange: 126-130 refereed: 1 issn: 3060-5059 citation: Utayeva, Iroda (2026) PROBLEMS OF MACHINE TRANSLATION IN THE RUSSIAN–ENGLISH DIRECTION: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF MODERN TRANSLATION SYSTEMS.
