%X The article presents a comparative analysis of Alisher Navoi’s Holoti Pahlavon Muhammad and its French translation by Marc Toutant. It examines how the terms fano, baqo, hol, dard, nafs, and faqr are rendered through transliteration, explicitation, and paratextual means, and evaluates the semantic achievements and limitations of the translation.
