The emergence of the city is examined in connection with the development of the mineral resources of the Kyzylkum Desert, the discovery of the Uchkuduk deposit, and the establishment of industrial, water, energy, and transport infrastructure. The study also analyzes the establishment of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine (NMMC), the city’s master plan, residential construction, and the activities of representatives of the Leningrad school of architecture.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-01-01</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Article</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_2334"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_2334_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
